The project site is located at 3356 Lemon Street on the east side of Lemon Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets, in Ward 1. The Planning Division of the Community &amp; Economic Development Department determined the is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), review pursuant to Sections 15301 (Existing Facilities) and 15331 (Historic Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation) of the CEQA Guidelines, as the project consist of the construction of a new single-family residence within a residential historic district that is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
