AWARD BID NO. RPU-7300 FOR MAGNOLIA-PLAZA RELIABILITY PROJECT, AREA ONE 4 KV TO 12 KV CONVERSION FOR $797,851.30
That the Board of Public Utilities:
1. Award a contract for the Magnolia-Plaza Reliability Project, Area One: Conduit and Substructures Installation – 4 kV to 12 kV Conversion, Bid No. RPU-7300 to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder Herman Weissker, Inc. of Riverside, California, in the amount of $797,851.30; and
2. Determine that the bids submitted by Metro Builders & Engineers Group, Ltd., of Newport Beach, California, in the amount of $685,263.60, and VCI Construction, of Upland, California, in the amount of $771,591, are non-responsive.
