Title: PLANNING CASE P16-0243: Proposed Certificate of Appropriateness request by Hudson Pruitt Architecture, for construction of an approximately 1,570 sq.ft. attached 3-car garage with Porte Cochere, fitness room, and craft room, a 5,000 sq.ft. two-story detached car collectors garage and wine cellar, and site improvements including landscaping, fencing, gates, and driveways, at a single-family residence located at 3261 Strong Street, City Landmark #91, in the R-1-7000-CR zone in Ward #1. It is recommended that the Cultural Heritage Board determine the proposal is categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to Sections 15301 and 15332, because the project constitutes a minor addition to historic resource and an in-fill development that is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
