PLANNING CASES P16-0465: Proposal by AC Atherton of Core States Group for a Certificate of Appropriateness to construct a weather enclosure for outdoor dining at the Bella Trattoria Bistro and provide accessible entry to new retail space, located at 3649 Mission Inn Ave, on the north side of Mission Inn Avenue between Orange Street and Main Street, in the DSP-RC-SP-CR – Downtown Specific Plan (Raincross District) and Cultural Resources Overlay Zones, in Ward 1. It is recommended that the Cultural Heritage Board determine the proposal is categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to Sections 15301 and 15331, because the project constitutes a minor alteration to a historic resource and is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
