Title: PLANNING CASE P17-0015: Proposed Certificate of Appropriateness request by Michael Coté for the Keller Organization to construct a new 420 sq. ft. detached garage, demolish existing front and rear patios, and complete a remodel consisting of a 499 sq. ft. front addition, 190 sq. ft. rear addition, new stucco, and new windows, at a single-family residence located at 4258 Larchwood Place, which is currently determined to be a Wood Streets Neighborhood Conservation Area Contributor, in the R-1-7000-CR, Single-family Residential and Cultural Resources Overlay zones, in Ward #1. It is recommended that the Cultural Heritage Board determine the proposal is categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to Section 15331, because the project is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
