Title: PLANNING CASE P20-0074 (HD): Proposal by Naomi Avila to consider a Historic Designation request for City Landmark designation of the former Freeland Tractor Company Showroom building, currently designated as a Structure of Merit. This property is located at 3252 Mission Inn Avenue, on the southeast corner of Mulberry Street and Mission Inn Avenue, within the Seventh Street Historic District, in Ward 2. The Community & Economic Development Department recommends that the Cultural Heritage Board recommend that the City Council determine that this proposal is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Sections 15061(b)(3) (Common Sense Rule) and 15308 (Actions by Regulatory Agencies for Protection of the Environment), as this proposal will not have a significant effect on the environment, identifies the structure as a cultural resource, and preserves the historic character of a cultural resource.
