Title: PLANNING CASE DP-2020-00226 (COA): Proposal by Diana Irwin of Diana Irwin Designs, on behalf of Elias Teshone to consider a Certificate of Appropriateness for the adaptive reuse of auto repair bays into a coffee shop, at the Frank Tetley Building, City Landmark #87. The project site is located at 4398 Market Street, situated on the northeast corner of Market and Fourteenth Streets, in Ward 1. The Community & Economic Development Department recommends the Cultural Heritage Board determine that this project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act review pursuant to Sections 15301 (Existing Facilities) and 15332 (In-Fill Development Projects), as it constitutes rehabilitation of a historic resource that is consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
