| 2 | Annual CPRC Officer Elections
Elections for the CPRC Chair and Vice-Chair will take place during the first meeting in March. Due to no action taken in March for CPRC Chair, a vote will occur at April's Commission meeting. Nominee receiving the majority affirmative vote will be elected.
The Brown Act prohibits members of a board or commission from using e-mail to discuss, deliberate or otherwise address any issue within the subject matter jurisdiction of the body. It is legally irrelevant whether or not a collective concurrence is reached outside of a properly noticed meeting. The mere act of e-mailing a quorum in an attempt to influence is a violation of the law.
