The 0.805-acre vacant parcel is part of a larger 15.45-acre commercial shopping center. The project site is located at 7200 Arlington Avenue, situated on the southeast corner of Arlington Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard, in the CR – Commercial Retail Zone, in Ward 6. The Planning Division of the Community & Economic Development Department has determined that this proposal is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review pursuant to Section 15332 (In-Fill Development Projects) of the CEQA Guidelines, as the project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
