of Public Utilities and may be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There will
be no separate discussion of these items unless, before the Board of Public Utilities
votes on the motion to adopt, Members of the Board of Public Utilities or the Public
Utilities General Manager, or his designee, request specific items be removed from the
Consent Calendar for separate action.

Recommend City Council receive cost of service and rate design study results and
recommendations for water treatment facilities to meet Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl
Substances (PFAS) regulations - Approve establishing Water Treatment Designated
Reserve in Water Utility Fund to set aside proceeds received from PFAS
settlements to fund capital costs for water treatment plants - Recommend staff offset
capital cost of water Treatment Facility 1, utilizing Ion Exchange (IX) WTP, to meet
PFAS regulations with PFAS settlement proceeds - Receive update on Request for
Proposal 2415 for Design and Construction Management services for Treatment
Facility 1, using Ion Exchange (IX) WTP, and request staff return with update on
project design and timeline - Request staff return to Board of Public Utilities for
review of Water Treatment Surcharge within one year for water treatment facilities 2
and 3, not covered by PFAS settlement proceeds, to meet PFAS regulations
