Pursuant to the City Council Meeting Rules adopted by Resolution No. 24076,  
members of all Boards and Commissions and the public are reminded that they must  
preserve order and decorum throughout the meeting. In that regard, members of all  
Boards and Commissions, as well as the public participants are advised that any  
delay or disruption in the proceedings or a refusal to obey the orders of the City  
Council, Boards and commissions, or their presiding officer constitutes a violation of  
these rules.

of Ethics and may be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There will be no  
separate discussion of these items unless, before the Board of Ethics votes on the  
motion to adopt, Members of the Board of Ethics or staff request specific items be  
removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action.  
Minutes of April 4, 2024

Determine the absence of Member DeHerrera from the April 4, 2024, meeting as  
excused or unexcused  
Consider proposed amendment to Riverside Municipal Code (RMC) adding Section  
2.78.060(N) regarding conviction of a violation of federal or state law pertaining to  
office which they hold - Recommend Governmental Processes Committee consider  
the proposed amendment and forward to City Council for consideration  
Review proposed pre-conference script for instances of the non-appearance of  
parties of filed complaints to pre-conferences and hearings  
Ad hoc committee updates:  
a. Establishing Legal panel for complaints (Chair Vega and Member Dr. Benson)  
b. Creating method for public education (Vice Chair Newman and Member  
Brief reports on meetings attended by Board Member  
Items for future Board consideration as requested by Board of Ethics Members.
