Title: PLANNING CASE DP-2022-01381 (HD): Request by Jana Cheney to consider a Historic Designation request for designation of the Old Martin Hoover House as a City Structure of Merit. This property is located at 3642 Hoover Street, on the west side of Hoover Street between Magnolia Avenue and Orchard Street, in Ward 3. The Community & Economic Development Department recommends that the Cultural Heritage Board recommend that the City Council determine that this proposal is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Sections 15061(b)(3) (Common Sense Rule) and 15308 (Actions by Regulatory Agencies for Protection of the Environment), as this proposal will not have a significant effect on the environment and will preserve the historic character of a cultural resource and provide notice of the resource historic status.
